Cops bust thug who mugged Justice Sotomayor’s cousin

Cops busted one of the two thugs who mugged US Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s cousin in the Bronx.

D’Shell Hill was picked up 8 p.m. Monday on Burnside Avenue and Crescent Avenue in the Bronx when a police officer recognized her from a sketch that was released after the May 24 robbery, police said.

Erin Sotomayor, 28, who works as an NYPD traffic agent, was headed into the Tremont Avenue subway station when Hill allegedly choked her from behind. A male accomplice then snatched Sotomayor’s iPhone and the two ran off, cops said.

Sotomayor was not injured during the robbery, authorities said.

Hill was hit with a slew of charges including robbery, criminal possession of stolen property and grand larceny, records show.

Police are still looking for Hill’s accomplice.
