Cleared duo pour salt on cop’s wounds

Two Brooklyn punks whooped it up in front of a still-recuperating cop yesterday as a jury acquitted them of assault charges for leading Officer Carlos Olmedo into the near-fatal path of a speeding motorcycle.

Tiku Qoku and Sefer Mujo dissolved into tears of joy as they were acquitted of the top charge — which could have put them in prison for up to 15 years — then gloated just feet from Olmedo, who sat in stunned silence.

“It’s been two years!” Mujo yelled, slapping his hands together as he taunted the cop and his supporters.

Qoku (left), 19, and Mujo (right), 20, could still get up to a year behind bars when they’re sentenced July 27 after being found guilty of resisting arrest and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the May 2010 incident.

But they skated on the top charge — that they caused Olmedo’s fractured skull and broken leg when he was blindsided by a motorcycle while in hot pursuit of the suspected car thieves.
