Chris Brown suffered an embarrassing beatdown at a trendy SoHo club this morning when he and his entourage traded flying bottles and blows with pals of fellow rapper Drake.
A witness at SoHo club W.i.P. told The Post that Drake taunted Brown in a note, “I’m f–kng the love of your life [Rihanna], deal with it.”
A source connected to the club told The Post the fight kicked off as the last song was playing, right before 4 a.m.
“They were on opposite sides of the room, Drake went over to the middle of the club to talk to someone, then words were exchanged with Chris and his entourage,” the source said.
“It looked like Drake’s entourage started it. Both Chris and Drake had their own security with them.”
The source said someone from Drake’s entourage, possibly the singer himself, threw a bottle.
“Once the bottle was thrown, all hell broke loose and there were more bottles thrown.”
Brown was pulled out of the fray by his own security and helped out of the club while Drake was pulled to the back of the club, according to the source, who added: “[Drake] was one of the last out of W.i.P.”
The source said police were already at the scene because it was closing time and that they “were on it in seconds and began getting everyone out of the club.”
“Chris was not taken to hospital in an ambulance,” the source said.
Brown later tweeted a photo of himself left with a bloody, nasty gash on his chin, following the battle at W.i.P.
The photo came with Brown’s tweet: “How u party with rich n—- that hate? Lol….Throwing bottles like girls? #shameonya!”
Both the photo and the message have since been removed.
“Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began. He did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property,” Drake spokeswoman Kelly Bush said.
A rep for Chis Brown said today in a statement: “Chris, Karrueche and his friends were victims of a brutal attack last night at W.i.P. They sustained several injuries. Chris and his party are cooperating with NY authorities who are pursuing this incident further.”
Rihanna briefly dated Drake after breaking up with Brown three years ago. The “Run It” singer beat up Rihanna after they attended a pre-Grammys party on Feb. 8, 2009.
NYPD officers arrived at the club on Varick Street after receiving a call after 4 a.m. that five people were injured, authorities said.
A 24-year-old Australian tourist was bashed in the head with a bottle and needed 16 stitches and a tetanus shot, according to TMZ.
Revelers said Brown was at the bash, but he was long gone by the time officers showed up. Drake was also not at the scene when police got there, sources said.
The big bash included a celebration for singer-songwriter Teyana Taylor, as she signed a deal with the G.O.O.D. Music label.

As reported by The Post, Brown and Rihanna have recently started getting closer again.
Brown joined Rihanna and her family to watch the Miami Heat game at Jay-Z’s 40/40 on Saturday.
