Manhattan real estate exec, B’klyn instructor killed in sky-diving accident

A Manhattan real-estate executive and his Brooklyn sky-diving instructor plunged to their deaths when their tandem parachute apparently failed to open during a jump upstate, according a report.

David Winoker, president of Winoker Realty, was killed Friday when he jumped as part of a friend’s 50th- birthday party held at Skydive The Ranch in Gardiner, NY, a pal said yesterday.

The instructor who died was identified as Alexander Chulsky of Brooklyn, the YNN news channel of Rochester reported.

The FAA is now probing the fatal jump, which took place in Plattekill.

Winoker, 49, who lived in Chappaqua with his wife, Jillian, and three kids, took over his real-estate company from his father, Sid, who founded the business 30 years ago. His funeral is set for today, Father’s Day, which is also his dad’s 83rd birthday, a friend told The Post.

“Sid is inconsolable,” the friend said.

Winoker was described as a “leader in the industry and loved by everyone.”

“There is not one person that could say they had a disagreement with him,” a close friend said.
