SI Little League coach in coke bust

A Staten Island Little League coach had more than 4 ounces of cocaine and thousands of dollars in cash on him when he was arrested in the organization’s Great Kills clubhouse, police said yesterday.

Yet Great Kills Little League assistant coach Todd Carroll insisted the felony narcotics-possession charge was just a big mistake.

“Yeah, I got into a bit of trouble [Friday] night, but there was a bit of a mix-up,” Carroll, 40, told The Post.

“It wasn’t 22Gs; it was more like 11Gs — and it wasn’t as much coke as they said it was; it was only a couple of packages.

“It’s just a misunderstanding,” he added before slamming shut the front door of his Jumel Street home.

And while he also claimed that he has never actually been a coach, nearly a dozen area residents identified him as such.

Staten Island Little League officials declined to comment.
