PSAL/Private boys soccer roundup: Tilden takes over top spot in Brooklyn A Central

Roody Pierre had two goals and an assist, Peterson Barreau also scored and Travis McKoy had an assist as Tilden topped Thomas Jefferson, 3-1, to take over first place on its own in Brooklyn A Central. Orlando Hewitt scored the only goal for Jefferson (4-1-0). Tilden improved to 5-0-0.

No. 9 Curtis 2, Susan Wagner 1: Edwin Zosayas scored twice, Dogo Cooper and Eduardo Bravo tallied assists and James Lopez Navarro made five saves in net for Curtis (5-1-0), which has won four in a row in Staten Island A. Wagner is now 1-3-2.

No. 10 Tottenville 12, CSI/McCown 1: Nick Bacarella had four goals and two assists, Youssef Moujir notched the hat trick and added an assist and Jacob Rubin finished with a goal and two assists for Tottenville (4-1-1) in Staten Island A. CSI/McCown is 0-6-0.

McKee/Staten Island Tech 2, New Dorp 2: Chris Sosa and Ryan Markoe each scored once and keeper Stephen O’Connor made 16 saves for MSIT (2-1-3) in Staten Island A. Archie Grant and Dino Cosovic tallied goals for New Dorp (4-1-1).

Petrides 4, Port Richmond 0: Malik Archer had two goals, Gregory Molina and Belveton Goga also scored once apiece and Michael Marotta followed with three assists for Petrides (2-2-2) in Staten Island A. Port Richmond is 1-4-1.

Boys & Girls 3, Erasmus Hall 0: Ricardo Edwards had two goals, Winston Goulbourne also scored and Romario Hill had two assists for Boys & Girls (1-2-0) in Brooklyn A Central. Erasmus Hall is 1-5-0.

South Shore 2, Prospect Heights 1: Steven Edwards and Josue Saint VII each scored once, Shauneil Smith added a helper and goalkeepers Anderson Wilson and Adrian Upson combined to make nine saves for South Shore (3-1-0) in Brooklyn A Central. Prospect Heights is 1-4-0.

CLASS B

LaGuardia 0, FDA 0: Daniel Khudyak made eight saves for the clean sheet for LaGuardia (5-0-1) in Manhattan B-II. FDA is 6-0-1 in Manhattan B-III.

George Washington 3, Hunter College HS 2: Walter Cabezas scored twice, Freddy Castro added a goal and Ronaldo Enade had two helpers for George Washington (4-3-1) in Manhattan B-III. Hunter College is 6-1-0 in Manhattan B-II.

PRIVATE

Dalton 5, Trinity 2: Alex Moore posted a hat trick and Isaac and Jeff Stern each scored once for Dalton (3-3-0, 2-3-0) in the Ivy Prep League. Trinity is 1-4-0.
