Living Legend

This apartment’s got soul.

Nine-time Grammy Award-winner John Legend’s East Village condo is on the market for $2.95 million.

The stylish two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment at 52 E. Fourth St. is in a modern, glassy, 15-story building with 18 units, a landscaped roof deck, a swimming pool and interiors by Andres Escobar.

The 1,359-square-foot condo has 13-foot ceilings, a private elevator landing and steel beams. We hear that Legend, who lives there with longtime model girlfriend Christine Teigen, still loves the apartment but also loves looking at real estate and could be ready to upgrade.

Legend, who is also on the board of Teach for America, bought the apartment for $1.9 million in 2009.

Prudential Douglas Elliman’s Jason Walker, who has the listing, did not return calls.

‘Girl’-y man rents in Williamsburg

Ed Westwick plays billionaire bad boy Chuck Bass on “Gossip Girl,” but in real life, the TV star lives in an upscale one-bedroom rental at the Edge complex in hipster-friendly Williamsburg.

The Brooklyn development’s online description boasts that it’s “more than just a place to live. It’s a philosophy.” We wonder what posh Upper East Siders would think about that.

One-bedrooms listed for rent at the Edge are around 700 square feet and range from $3,000 to $3,750 a month. One-bedroom condos are around $550,000 to $750,000. We hear that Westwick originally visited the Edge with an eye on buying, but the commitment-challenged actor ended up renting.

Amenities include a pool with three glass walls and Manhattan views. The Edge is also home to the weekly Brooklyn Flea market and Smorgasburg food fair.

Setting sail

Love is in the air at 1025 Fifth Ave., the postwar co-op building across the street from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. That’s where Gavin MacLeod, who played the captain on “The Love Boat,” and his wife, Patricia, have sold their first-floor home.

The co-op board turned down three “worthy” applicants, sources say, before approving this deal. The original asking price was $990,000. The home sold for $850,000 to Terry and Sol Edelstein.

We hear . . .

That Prudential Douglas Elliman vice chair Dolly Lenz will be honored at the Police Athletic League’s “Women of the Year” luncheon on Nov. 7 at the Pierre. … That Michael Shah, principal of real estate firm DelShah Capital, has just bought a $3.93 million condo at 15 Union Square West. Shah’s new neighbors will include Silicon Valley billionaire Peter Thiel, who lives in a rental in the building when he’s in New York. Broker Shlomi Reuveni of BHS Select declined to comment … That Concierge Auctions will sell a New Canaan, Conn., estate — 6 acres that includes a three-bedroom, 10,000-square-foot “fieldhouse” with a 30-seat cinema, indoor golf area, bowling alley and basketball court — on Oct. 20. Originally listed for $12.5 million, the property will sell to the highest bidder regardless of price.

Searching high & low

Newly single Jennifer Lopez is looking for a home in the Hamptons, but she hasn’t narrowed her search to just one property.

The “American Idol” host has checked out an $18 million beach manse on Mecox Bay in Water Mill. But despite buzz that Lopez is purchasing the home, the residence is still open to other potential buyers for walk-throughs. That residence at 200 Bay Lane has seven bedrooms and 9 1/2 bathrooms.

And Lopez, we’ve exclusively learned, has also checked out 47 Georgica Road in East Hampton, an eight-bedroom, 9 1/2-bathroom mansion that’s listed for $16.9 million. That house, on 4 acres, is owned by apparel mogul Richard Chestnov. It was designed by architect Peter Cook, Christie Brinkley’s philandering ex-husband.

Meanwhile, our Florida spies spotted J.Lo hard at work with Jason Statham, filming a scene from their upcoming film, “Parker,” at One Thousand Ocean in Boca Raton. Jamie Telchin, who developed that condo complex, was just in New York to host a “Hot Property” book party for Michele Kleier, Sabrina Kleier Morgenstern and Samantha Kleier Forbes. Telchin tells us he hired tennis pro Venus Williams’ design firm, V*Starr Interiors, to create a model unit.
