Weapons bust at JFK

An Egyptian man was busted at Kennedy Airport allegedly with enough weapons to overthrow a despot.

Ahmed Aboukhabar, 31, of Alexandria, was arrested Tuesday evening after TSA agents found four sets of brass knuckles, four stun- gun batons, a dagger and a sword in his checked luggage before an Air France flight to Paris, sources said yesterday.

He allegedly told Port Authority cops he needed the items “for personal protection” due to civil unrest in his homeland.

The arrest came a day after another man — Jason Aramburu, 26, from San Antonio, Texas — was caught with an illegal knife in his checked luggage before boarding a flight to Istanbul, Turkey.

Aramburu later told The Post in an e-mail that he was planning to make it to Kenya as part of a humanitarian effort and that the knife in question was needed to help poor farmers.

He agreed to accept an “acquittal in contemplation of dismissal” — which means his case will be closed out if he stays out of trouble until Jan. 27, said a spokeswoman for the Queens District Attorney.
