With split still on her mind, J.Lo breaks down crying on stage

Still stinging from the breakup of her marriage, Jennifer Lopez ran off a Connecticut stage in tears after performing a song with lyrics that hit too close to the heart.

Lopez, who split with husband of seven years Marc Anthony in July, became overwhelmed after singing an acoustic rendition of her hit “If You Had My Love” to a full house at Mohegan Sun, RadarOnline reported.

“What is love? As the last song I wrote about love…a lot has changed since then,” the 42-year-old singer told the crowd, according to RadarOnline.

Radar quoted an eyewitness who said J.Lo tried in vain to go on with the show but had to take a break.

“At the end of the song she started sobbing and had to take a few moments to keep it together,” the witness said. “She held it together for one song but then ran offstage crying.”

“She only sang a few more songs and she was obviously out of it. Everyone was so sad for her. It was really dramatic.”

J.Lo ended the show on an upbeat note. Showing off a picture of her 3½-year-old twins Max and Emme and said, “There’s love – and then there’s love,” People reported.
