Real Estate

El done

Alec Baldwin has even more real estate news to celebrate. Baldwin, who’s bought a penthouse condo at the Devonshire House building in Greenwich Village for $11.7 million, is now in contract to sell his full-floor co-op at the El Dorado building at 300 Central Park West. The 22nd-floor, three-bedroom, 3 1/2-bathroom residence’s most recent asking price was $9.5 million.

The “30 Rock” star’s unit has a woodburning fireplace, a formal dining room and a renovated corner master suite with new closets, surround sound and a windowed marble bath facing the park.

Let’s hope that Baldwin’s gal pal, yoga maestro Hilaria Thomas, will be able to replicate the unique serenity that came with the high floor and peaceful Central Park views.

Suburb heist

Funnyman Ben Stiller is house-hunting in the suburbs. Stiller, who’s looking for a home where he and wife Christine Taylor can raise their children, Ella and Quinlin, checked out a stunning glass-and-steel home with a $3.45 million asking price in Cornwall-On-Hudson in Orange County.

Stiller, though, will have to keep looking. We hear that listing broker Howard Henzel of Nest Seekers International just sold the property to Edward Doering, president of motorcycle-products company V-Twin Manufacturing, for $2.475 million.

The ultra-modern, eco-friendly home at 10 Stable Way is 4,500 square feet and was inspired by the Pompidou Center in Paris. It has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, exposed steel beams and a mezzanine area.

The home also features a four-story, floating spiral staircase in the central gallery that goes up to an observation deck with 360-degree views.

Astor place

Finally, closure! The late Brooke Astor’s apartment at 778 Park Ave. closed yesterday for $21 million — less than half its original $46 million asking price.

The board of the Rosario Candela-designed co-op building axed two previous deals, including one by Swiss money man Daniel Forcart. The mystery buyer is a businessman based in New York.

The duplex, which needs extensive work, is on the 15th and 16th floors and includes five bedrooms, 4 1/2 bathrooms, six terraces, five fireplaces and views of Park Avenue and Central Park.

Sharon Baum and Jenna Kingsley, the Corcoran Group brokers representing the buyer, were unavailable for comment.

Astor was one of the city’s great philanthropists, though her life ended in despair in this duplex at the hands of her son, former diplomat and Tony Award-winning producer Anthony Marshal
l.

In other Astor news, an apartment owned by her estate at 215 E. 72nd St. also closed — for a far more modest $200,000. The one-bedroom co-op, where Astor’s chauffeur lived, was cobbled together out of three maids’ rooms. Listing broker Michele Peck of Gumley Haft Kleier declined to comment.

Art of the deal

Developer Adam Gordon, who sold his Upper West Side townhouse at 26 W. 76th St. to billionaire Henry Silverman, has just bought the land at 552 W. 24th St. for $9.7 million. The 50-foot-wide and 100-foot-deep site was sold to Art Residences, a venture financed by Gordon and Tavros Development.

The strategy, we hear, will be to create luxury residences, not unlike what Gordon did at 54 Bond St., that sit above a ground-floor art gallery. The well-placed site is right by uber-posh condo building 200 11th Ave., which has high-profile owners like Nicole Kidman and Domenico Dolce.

We hear …

That Steve Birkhold, who runs Lacoste USA, has just purchased a swanky new pad above the High Line at 245 10th Ave. The one-bedroom, two-bathroom condo closed for $1.72 million. Brokers Aeen Avini of Town Residential and Leonard Steinberg of Prudential Douglas Elliman, were unavailable for comment … That ex-Citi Habitats broker Danny Davis just joined his old mentor Andrew Heiberger at Town Residential.
