Fun-loving granny slain

An East Harlem grandmother who at 73 still loved to dance was found murdered last night with a plastic bag over her head and her feet bound with a scarf, cops said.

Judy Hernandez called her daughter at around 1 p.m. yesterday to say there was a “funny- looking guy in the elevator” in her building at the Wagner Houses on East 120th Street.

“I said, ‘Stay inside and go shopping later,’ ” the heartbroken daughter, Elaing Hernandez, 48, said.

Her other daughter, Janette, went to the ninth-floor apartment at around 7:40 p.m., and made the discovery.

Jasminda Otero, 30, said her beloved grandma “used to go clubbing all the time.

“What 73-year-old goes clubbing? In stiletto heels, too?”

Hernandez’s neighbor Raymond Mejias, 54, said they’d go salsa dancing in The Bronx, but he said he trouble keeping up with the woman 20 years his senior.

“She had that energy. I’d get tired and she would keep on going,” Mejias said.
