‘DWI’ Sanit man’s record as long as a broomstick

An off-duty city Sanitation worker arrested yesterday in The Bronx for drunken driving has a dirty past — including busts for gun possession, rape and drugs, sources said.

Barrington Seaton, 43, was charged with DWI after officers found him boozed-up and asleep at 5:30 a.m. behind the wheel of a Chevy Trailblazer on Valentine Avenue in Bedford Park, cops said.

His blood-alcohol level registered at .14 percent, almost double the legal limit of .08, cops added.

Records show that he served five years of probation, from 1993 to 1998, after pleading guilty to gun possession, the sources said.

In 1989, he was accused of raping a woman, and he also has three drug-related arrests, the sources said.

The disposition of those cases was not known last night.

Seaton joined the Sanitation Department in 2007.
