Swastika-scrawling hate suspect busted in Queens

A hatemonger was busted today after scrawling a series of swastikas in Queens, police said.

Franco Rodriguez, 40, painted 9 hate symbols in five separate incidents from Oct. 30 through Nov. 4, police said. He allegedly first defaced the door of the Queens Library on 81st Street near 35th Avenue, which was discovered by a custodian on Oct. 30.

The thug returned a few days later and painted three swastikas on two front doors, but this time his misdeeds were caught on camera. A librarian later recognized him as the same creep who was banned from the library for harassing customers, cops said.

Rodriguez also targeted the Congregation-Tifereth-Israel-of-Jackson-Heights on 88th Street, St. Joan of Arc Church and another library on 86th Street, police said.

He was arrested today and charged with criminal mischief and making graffiti.
