A steaming-mad judge threw the book at Michael Jackson’s Doctor Feelgood yesterday, slapping the quack with four years behind bars for killing The King of Pop.

A county sheriff’s rep said disgraced Dr. Conrad Murray will likely wind up spending only two years in jail because of overcrowded contditions.

His lawyers predicted that it wouldn’t be any more than a few months.

Murray sat stone-faced as LA Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor railed at him for more than a half-hour, lambasting the disgraced physician’s “failure of character” and fatal “money for medicine” ploy that ended in the death of Jackson.

Pastor appeared particularly galled by Murray’s refusal to accept blame for Jackson’s death on June 25, 2009, from an overdose of the anesthetic propofol and other sedatives that Murray was accused of providing and administering.

Murray, convicted of involuntary manslaughter, has told documentary makers that he didn’t do anything wrong.

“Dr. Murray . . . says he feels betrayed and entrapped by Michael Jackson. Yikes, talk about blaming the victim!” a disgusted Pastor said.

“To hear Dr. Murray say it, Dr. Murray was just a bystander who sort of came upon a scene.”

Pastor also went off on Murray for making audio recordings of a drugged- up Jacko babbling about his lost childhood.

The judge theorized that Murray was going to use the recording against Jackson someday, saying, “That tape recording was Dr. Murray’s insurance policy.”

Driving home the anguish over Jackson’s death, a prosecutor noted that the singer’s daughter, Paris, cried out to her dead father at the hospital, “I want to go with you!’’

A mob of Jacko fans, including his personal magician, massed at his mausoleum after the sentencing to pay him tribute and sing his signature tunes.
