WASHINGTON — Who says Congress can’t be bipartisan?
The House yesterday overwhelmingly passed a bill to end longtime per-country caps on work visas.
The legislation, which passed 389-15, would nix the current law that caps worker visas from any one country at 7 percent and would instead hand out the “green cards” on a first-come, first-serve basis.
