The dim-watt dimwits

The Issue: The ban on the sale of incandescent 100-watt light bulbs going into effect on Jan. 1, 2012.

It is unclear to me whether even politicians are familiar with the practice of saving energy or flicking down the on/off switch (“First, They Came for Our 100-Watt Bulbs,” Claudia Rosett, PostOpinion, Dec. 1).

Based on my latest perception of them, their accomplishments and their incompetent performance, the phrase “The lights are on, but nobody’s home” comes to mind.

Rosett’s article on the new twist light bulbs seems to disregard those of us who find these new fluorescents very satisfactory.

They are low on heat and low in operating cost.

It’s funny how liberals love to scream “pro-choice” unless it’s a matter of promoting their socialist agenda.

The right to choose apparently doesn’t apply to light bulbs, SUVs, fur coats, high-fat foods, oil drilling or anything else that lefties deem unfit for humanity.

I’m sick to death of their self-righteous hypocrisy.
