Bragging rights don’t matter to Giants

Who owns the New York/New Jersey area when it comes to pro football supremacy?

Justin Tuck said it’s not the Jets. He also said it’s not the Giants.

Asked what’s at stake in tomorrow’s clash, Tuck said: “Playoffs. I could care less about bragging rights. Last time I checked the mayor of New York ran the city. New Jersey I think is Gov. Christie, doesn’t he have a lot to say about what goes on in New Jersey? I don’t see me making no rulings on anything. Rex Ryan either.’’

Still, Tuck often sees Jets players out and about and it figures those meeting would be far more pleasant if the Giants win this game, which takes place every four years in the regular season.

“We want to win the game regardless,’’ Tuck said, “but it’s not like if we beat them I’m going to be seeing guys at a steakhouse, see [Mark] Sanchez and say, ‘Guess what? We beat you.’ C’mon man, who cares?

“The only thing I care about is getting another one of those shiny things on my finger. That’s the only thing we play this game for anyway. Ask Rex Ryan is he cool with going to the championship game two years in a row.’’
