Girls basketball roundup: Curtis falls in Marist semis

Albany 52, John F. Kennedy 38: Deasia Acklin had 11 points and Leshauna Phinazee scored 10 for Kennedy (8-6) in the Amsterdam Holiday College Showcase. Emia Willingham-Hurst led Albany with 14 points.

St. Joseph Hill 45, Amsterdam 38: Junior Kelsey Carey scored a career-high 32 points, including the 1,000th of her career, for St. Joseph Hill (2-6) at the Amsterdam Holiday College Showcase. Kelsey Smith added six points.

Fieldston 57, Queens HS Complex: 34: Larissa McPhee scored 16 points and Carolyn Katz had 12 for Fieldston (5-5) at the Baseline Holiday Madness Tournament. Savannah Stern tallied 11 points and Annie Fernandez added nine.
