Cop fund at $1.3M

Throughout the Christmas holiday weekend, generous New Yorkers continued sending donations to a scholarship fund for the children of a brave NYPD officer slain in the line of duty.

The Peter Figoski Scholarship Fund swelled to more than $1.3 million as big-hearted donors showed their support for the fallen cop’s four devastated daughters.

Working a perilous night shift in Brooklyn to support his kids, Figoski was gunned down by a ruthless robber as the hero tried to break up a heist on Dec. 12.

The decorated veteran left behind four daughters: Christine, 19, a SUNY Oneonta undergrad; Caitlyn, 18, a SUNY Plattsburgh undergrad; and Caroline, 16, and Corinne, 14, both high-school students in West Babylon, LI.

The Peter Figoski Scholarship Fund was launched by the New York Post and the New York City Police Foundation.
