Occupy Wall Street protesters rally then busted in Grand Central

About two hundred Occupy Wall Street protesters organized a flash mob in Grand Central Terminal’s congested main concourse today during rush hour.

The 5 p.m. rally was a protest against President Obama signing a recent defense act into law that they said hurts civil liberties.

Authorities said three people were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, and two received nuisance summonses for blocking pedestrian traffic.

The flash mob was loud, creating a human megaphone to relay their message.

“It was a peaceful but noisy protest,” said Marjorie Anders, a spokesperson for the MTA.
