New dining for Meadowlands Racetrack

New dining and entertainment options are coming to the Meadowlands Racetrack, which opens in November, in a 180,000 square-feet space over three floors, plus outdoor space, The Post has learned.

The complex will be run by Meadowlands’ managing partner Jeffrey Gural, along with ARK Restaurants (of eateries including Bryant Park Grill and DC’s Sequoia) and Michael Sinensky of Funbars.com (which includes the Village Pourhouse and Hudson Terrace).

The food portion features the 280-seat Victory Sports Bar & Nightclub, with a menu from former Chanterelle chef David Waltuck. The Lounge, 240 seats on the second floor, offers a walk-up bar and prime views of the racetrack, and The Gallery, a private space, holds up to 200 people.

Pink, a tiered, prix-fixe dining room that seats 300, will be open on race days, with table-side food and cocktail service on bright pink wool chairs. Tables are equipped with TVs and betting terminals — all with racetrack views.

The outdoor spaces, slated to open in April, include Victory Terrace, a sprawling rooftop with a lounge feel, table service and city views, and the Outfield, which will be spread across 2¹/₂ acres. Both areas will offer dining and entertaining spaces to accommodate 10,000 people.

The Outfield includes seasonal restaurants House of ’Que and Little Town NJ, in addition to three private party tents. Pit master Mike Rodriguez, of Austin, Texas’ Salt Lick BBQ, is in charge of the BBQ joint, while the area also includes a musical stage and The Playscape, a family-friendly space with beer garden-style food, along with bocce ball, ping pong and other activities.
