The only thing that could overshadow Kelsey Grammer’s Golden Globe win for “Boss” is the news that he’s having twins.
Backstage at Sunday night’s award show, Grammer told reporters that his wife, Kayte Walsh, is in her second trimester.
“Fatherhood is always different based upon the character that comes into your life,” he said.
“They arrive and tell you what you have to do. I’m really looking forward to meeting these new arrivals in our lives, yes, twins.”
Grammer went on to call his bride of 11 months “one of the most loving, amazing, warm human beings I’ve ever met” and said that she “will make an extraordinary mother.”
The baby news came as a shock to Grammer’s most recent ex-wife and “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, Camille Grammer.
“Camille and the children had no idea” that he was expecting to add to his brood, a source told the Huffington Post. “They found out about it from the media. Once again, selfish Kelsey decided to do what’s best for him with no concern for his current children.”
Camille and Grammer are still locked in a custody battle over their two kids, ages 7 and 10. Grammer has two other daughters from previous relationships, too.
