Pot vendor a ‘cereal’ dealer: cops

Snap! Crackle! Pot!

Cops arrested two men Wednesday after busting up their half-baked East Village drug deal and discovering a sweet stash of dozens of marijuana-laced Rice Krispie’s Treats, The Post has learned.

Ariel Herrera, 23, allegedly hid the sugary snacks and their secret ingredient in the back seat of his 2011 Honda Accord — where cops caught him peddling pot-filled treats to Logan Delfugeo in front of an East 14th Street apartment building.

“I guess these guys wanted to take care of the high and the munchies all at once,” a law enforcement source deadpanned.

Plainclothes detectives from the Manhattan South narcotics squad pounced on Delfugeo as he stepped out of the Accord around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday with three freshly purchased marijuana treats inside his jacket.

“I’m busted, I’m busted,” Delfugeo whined, according to a source who said he later claimed he needs marijuana for medical purposes.

Herrera bolted from the car, but got caught at Bowery and Kenmare Street.

Detectives had been patrolling the area between Second and Third avenues, a drug-sales hotspot, when they saw Delfugeo walk out of a building and into the car, where he was allegedly seen handing over a wad of green to Herrera.

Cops seized $300 cash, 11 bags of weed and 48 bricks of the drug-laced snacks inside the Accord.

The Rice Krispie’s Treats were packed in “bio-degradable” plastic that listed key ingredients such as marshmallows and organic green butter.

“Please dispose of the bio-degradable packaging responsibly,” said a seal attached to the treats. “Thank you!”

Delfugeo, 32, is charged with criminal possession of marijuana, while Herrera is charged with criminal sale and possession of pot, according to Special Narcotics Prosecutor Bridget G. Brennan.
