Suit in UES drag horror

A fashion stylist run over by a dump truck working on the Second Avenue Subway project did not have to die, court papers say.

Laurence Renard, 35, was “lawfully and properly crossing First Avenue at East 90th Street from east to west inside the crosswalk and with the green light” last Jan. 24 when the truck made a left turn into her, the papers charge.

She was “run over, dragged and eventually severed in two,” the filing adds.

In a wrongful-death suit filed yesterday, widower Brice Mastroluca accuses driver Diego Tapia-Ulloa of ignoring MTA instructions to keep the truck off one-way side streets and to turn only on East 86th.

Tapia-Ulloa, who stayed at the scene and called 911, was arrested for driving with a suspended license. The criminal case ended with his paying a $500 fine after authorities determined it was because of a paperwork mixup.
