Brooklyn English teacher suspended for misspelling words, using ‘grammatically incorrect English’

She teaches English but can barely write it.

Brooklyn teacher Lisa Dickman was suspended for, among other things, misspelling words like “chivalry” on the blackboard and using “grammatically incorrect English,” according to a disciplinary-hearing report.

An assistant principal at James Madison HS found that “students were not learning as a result of [her] . . . poor classroom management.”
