A wrong-way driver triggered a horrific accident in Brooklyn, injuring 11 people and badly snarling this morning’s commute, authorities said.

Staten Island resident Henry Brimsley, 30, went west on the eastbound Belt Parkway, near the Bay Parkway exit, at about 6:15 a.m., officials said.

Five people were seriously hurt in the four-car pile-up, and six others suffered minor injuries, according to an FDNY spokesman. They were taken to Lutheran Hospital.

Brimsley did not have a valid driver’s license, officials said.

He was charged with two counts of reckless endangerment and aggravated and unlicensed operation of vehicle, police said. Brimsley was also cited for speeding

Motorist Joseph Dayan, 58,was seething as he sat in the highway parking lot.

“People go crazy in this traffic,” Dayan said. “Traffic is the worst over here. I waste so much time and gas.”
