A Mack truck rear-ended rapper 50 Cent in a scary accident on the Long Island Expressway late last night, sending him the hospital with possible neck and back injuries, officials said.

The crash happened at 11:18 p.m. on the LIE near its connection to the Van Wyck Expressway, according to law enforcement sources.

The rapper’s Web site, Thisis50.com, posted pictures of last night’s accident scene and images of Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson on a stretcher with his head and neck immobilized.

Both the artist and his driver, Bruce Miller, were taken to the hospital, treated and released.

“50 cent was in a bad accident tonight as his bulletproof SUV was rear-ended by a Mack truck on the LIE in NYC,” the Web site said.

Jackson’s “SUV almost flipped over,” the site reported.

“Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson was involved in a car accident in New York,” said Jackson’s spokeswoman Keesha Johnson. “He was taken to New York Hospital in Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries.”

Johnson added: “He was released this morning and is doing fine.”

The truck’s driver told cops his load shifted, leading him to lose control of the semi, according to the Web site.
