Perry Ellis by Duckie Brown

The masterminds behind Duckie Brown, Steven Cox and Daniel Silver, were not at all hesitant to take on the challenge of revamping the Perry Ellis brand. The designing duo knew from the very beginning that they wanted to revamp the brand by designing forward, not by looking backwards, while also remaining true to the brand’s infamous quirky charm.

The collection is inspired by the personal style of the late designer, who often wore khaki trousers and a blue shirt. A sea of khaki flooded the runway as the perfectly chiseled models made their way down the catwalk. The clean aesthetic and slight play on proportions translated beautifully, encompassing both classic and modern elements. The styling was impeccable, making each piece from the collection look extremely wearable. The baseball bowler hat, Cox’s favorite piece from the collection, was the most buzzworthy item and gave each look a sporty edge. This collection definitely gives men something to look forward to come spring.
