Late-night host David Letterman is likely fuming that his big scoop tonight — unveiling the cover of the 2013 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue — was spoiled over the weekend by a leaker. The leak revealed that Kate Upton is the cover girl for the second year in a row and the cover photo was plastered all over the Internet yesterday.
Letterman has had an exclusive deal with SI for six years now to be the first to show the cover.
The issue — traditionally the single best-selling magazine of the year — goes on sale Tuesday and the cover model usually makes a visit to the Letterman show tomorrow night.
No word yesterday on whether the leak will cause any last-minute changes.
