WRONG TURN: R&B singer Chris Brown tells his story to a cop after smashing his car in Beverly Hills. He claimed he lost control while trying to evade paparazzi. (INFphoto.com)

Here’s another Chris Brown hit you won’t see on the charts.

The R&B bad boy was caught on camera moments after plowing his Porsche into a wall in Beverly Hills.

The crash came on the eve of last night’s Grammy Awards and after a court hearing last week in which Brown was accused of dodging the community-service sentence he landed for beating up his on-again gal pal, Rihanna.

Brown stayed at Saturday’s crash scene to talk to cops, then phoned for a lift.

He told cops he smashed the black sports car into a residential wall while being chased by paparazzi.

But a photo agency that had lensmen nearby denied the claim.

No one was cited in the smashup.

It was a second instance of pre-Grammy drama for the singer, happening nearly four years to the day after Brown’s infamous beating of Rihanna following producer Clive Davis’ pre-awards-show party.

The two recently got back together and were spotted having brunch Saturday not long before Brown’s smashup.

But Brown showed up alone to last night’s Grammys in LA, clad in an all-white suit.

Rihanna had appeared at his side in court last week as he was accused of lying about having performed hundreds of hours of community service.

He was ordered to meet with probation officers and return to court April 5.

Two weeks ago, Brown got into a tussle with rival R&B star Frank Ocean, allegedly punching him over a parking space.
