After Jennifer Lawrence took a dive on her way to collect her Best Actress Oscar, she cheekily flashed photographers her middle finger when they teased her about her embarrassing stumble.

“Don’t trip!” photographers shouted to Lawrence, 22, when she went backstage at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles Sunday to show off her gleaming golden statuette.

Lawrence — who was still wearing the long white Dior gown that she tripped on — was warned to be careful stepping onto a platform to have her picture taken.

That’s when the “Silver Linings Playbook” actress whipped around and flipped the lensmen the bird — unaware that nearly 100 cameras were capturing the moment.

“Immediately after that, she realized she had flipped off a whole bunch of photographers,” said Michael Williams, a lensman for Startraks Photo. “All the flashes were going crazy.

“It dawns on her immediately afterward: ‘Oh, rats, now it’s on film.’ ”

Lawrence’s gape-mouthed reaction was also caught in a series of photos.

“The room was cracking up,” Williams said of the fotogs’ reaction to Lawrence and her middle finger. “It was hilarious.”

Williams said Lawrence was a good sport, and was clearly playing along when she flipped them off.

“It was all very good-natured, very funny,” Williams said. “Nothing remotely angry.”

After flipping off the shutterbugs, Lawrence kept things salty during a press conference.

“What went through my mind when I fell down?” she told reporters. “A bad word that I can’t say that starts with ‘F.’ ”
