Queens man killed in ‘DWI’ crash

A Queens man is dead and another faces vehicular-manslaughter and drunken-driving charges after a two-car crash early Saturday.

James Celauro, 23, was drunk behind the wheel of his 2006 Ford sedan when it smashed into Jimmy Sinisi’s car at 1 a.m. Saturday at 98th Street and 159th Avenue in Howard Beach, police said.

Sinisi, 38, of Glendale, was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, but doctors could not save his life.

Celauro, of Howard Beach, was also injured and is in stable condition at the same hospital.

The married Sinisi was a good man who got along with everyone, according to his landlord.

“For me, he was very, very good,” Ekram Korajac said of Sinisi.
