Luxe launches

Site check

Veteran hospitality scene-maker Ben Pundole has unveiled A Hotel Life (ahotelife.com), a luxury travel and lifestyle Web site with tips from insiders including Pundole’s Edition Hotels boss Ian Schrager (you know, the fancy-pants boutique Marriott guy), Sydell Group hostel-takeover artist Roy Alpert (whose Freehand in Miami is truly the new hipster hotness) and select hotel nightlife instigators who also claim to be part-time DJs. At last Thursday’s Krug Champagne-fueled launch party at Acme, Pundole and DJ girlfriend Chelsea Leyland entertained downtown scenesters including David Schwimmer, who promised to send The Post his own insider picks for London. Schwimmer met his lovely wife, British photographer Zoe Buckman, in London — so we expect this list to be serious.

Revel still on blast

Atlantic City’s Revel has filed for bankruptcy, but that doesn’t mean the party’s stopping at the troubled casino-resort. Angel Management Group and EMM Group are gearing up to open their 45,000-square-foot HQ Beach Club on Revel’s boardwalk level in May. While the decor is said to be Mykonos-inspired, the crowd of, um, revelers should expect a Las Vegas-like party experience with VIP bungalows and an over-the-top sound system. Angel’s Vegas spots include the MGM Grand’s Wet Republic and forthcoming Hakkasan, which has locked up DJs including Calvin Harris and Tiesto.
