Oprah tops ‘Most Influential’ poll

Oprah Winfrey may now be just a blip on the TV radar — but she’s still holding sway over her fans.

For the second consecutive year, Winfrey has topped Forbes magazine’s annual list of the “Most Influential Celebrities,” averaging a 48 percent “influential rate.”

The list uses polling data and takes into account more than 7,500 celebrities, who are ranked on 46 different personality traits, according to the magazine.

Winfrey, whose mega-popular daytime talk show, “Oprah,” ended its 25-year run in May 2011, has been running her OWN cable network, on which she hosts a Sunday-night interview show.

She’s followed on the “Most Influential Celebrities” list by movie directors Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Ron Howard and George Lucas; Winfrey’s protege, “Dr. Oz” host Mehmet Oz; “The View” co-host Barbara Walters; rocker/activist Bono; TV financial whiz Suze Orman; and actor Clint Eastwood.

Michael J. Fox, who made the Top 10 last year, dropped to 13th for 2013.

He’s working on an NBC sitcom scheduled to debut in the fall.
