Sultry Tracy Reese goes Caribbean

The Who:

The usual suspects: editors and bloggers.

The What: The vibe was downright sultry at the designer whose feminine clothes are a favorite of the First Lady. A Caribbean drum trio accompanied the Afro-Cuban soundtrack, while the models engaged in some exaggerated hip swinging to the beat. Vibrant graphics and florals that could have been ripped from 1950s Havana were fashioned into curve hugging dresses and playful ladylike frocks. The rest of the collection was ruled by white, which was whipped into every sensual silhouette possible from full skirts to crop tops and trumpet skirts.

The Highlight:

The white lace Mambo dress, which was basically made for curvy lady Eva Mendes.

The Takeaway:

The collection was less pretty frocks and more sexy togs.
