J.R. Smith’s face is brother’s new back tattoo

J.R. Smith has his brother’s back — and now is on it.

Chris Smith, the younger brother of the Knicks’ reigning Sixth Man Award winner, will join the team at training camp with a new tattoo, featuring the face of his brother, located on his back.

Perhaps in celebration of his older brother’s 28th birthday on Monday, Chris posted a picture to Instagram of his new ink, which had the inscription: “Always got my Back.” J.R. Smith was suspended five games Friday for a marijuana violation of the league’s drug policy and is recovering from offseason knee surgery.
