Mysterious ‘Robin Hood 702’ to serve Christmas meals

A mysterious gambler and his merry band of foodies plan to prepare a fancy feast for the city’s homeless and poor on Christmas Day at the New York City Rescue Mission.

Robin Hood 702 — the anonymous card player who doles out money to struggling families in memory of his late mother — recruited two high-end chefs for the feast and will pick up the tab for the entire affair.

The spread will include baked ham, roast beef, mashed potatoes and green peas, among other treats.

Hood’s cooking recruits — or “Fryars,” as he likes to call them — include Guy Mitchell, a guest chef at the White House and the Vice President’s Residence (who was also executive chef at the Montauk Yacht Club); and Dino Gatto, executive chef at famed East Harlem eatery Rao’s. Hood’s “Maid Marian” is “Lady Greice” Santo, a Brazilian bombshell actress, who will also be on hand.

Aside from Mitchell’s cooking duties, he’ll also create an ice sculpture for his yuletide diners. Knife purveyor Gunter Wilhelm is donating $2,000 in blades and kitchen wares so the meal can be prepared in style.

The New York City Rescue Mission, located at 90 Lafayette St., is the nation’s first homeless rescue shelter, founded in 1872. The meal will be served between 3 and 5 p.m.
