Another cop nabbed for DUI

An off-duty NYPD detective was arrested for driving drunk in Brooklyn yesterday after he crashed his minivan into an ambulance, police said.

Washington Mosquera, 37, was driving on Highland Boulevard near Jamaica Avenue in Brownsville at 1:30 a.m. when he crossed over the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic, according to court records.

The allegedly sloshed cop then sideswiped an FDNY ambulance in his white 2000 Ford Windstar and the ambulance driver radioed for police, law-enforcement sources said.

Mosquera reeked of booze and was unsteady on his feet when police arrived but the veteran cop refused to take a breath test, law-enforcement sources said.

Mosquera is the third cop arrested in two days for DWI and the sixth employee of the police department to be arrested since Friday.
