Brooklyn

Cops are hunting for a man (pictured) who broke into a house in Sheepshead Bay and was confronted by the tenant, cops said.

The unidentified perp entered the home on East 22nd Street at around 5:45 p.m. Feb. 20., according to police.

Once inside, the thief ran into the resident and fled empty-handed.

The thief was wearing a blue coat and dark hat at the time of the incident.

Two armed robbers are wanted for robbing four businesses in Canarsie, Queens Village and Cambria Heights, police said.

The suspects entered Caribbean Air Mail, a money-transfer business, on Flatlands Avenue at 6:05 p.m. March 1, displayed firearms and demanded cash, cops said. The duo fled with the loot.

Then, at 2 p.m. five days later, they hit another money-transfer shop, this one on Linden Boulevard, police said.

The duo also targeted the Faith Variety Store on Rockaway Parkway in Canarsie at around 5:40 p.m. March 8, and again made off with cash, police said.

Finally, the robbers hit Caribbean Vision on Hempstead Avenue, producing guns and demanding money at around 5:45 p.m. last Friday, police said. This time, they didn’t get any cash.

Staten Island

A senior citizen was busted in Prince’s Bay for illegally possessing a gun, authorities said.

William Testori, 69, got into a fight with his 63-year-old girlfriend at 1:30 a.m. Sunday inside her house on Admiralty Loop in the upscale Captain’s Quarters development, according to court documents.

Afterward, she called police and said that Testori had a gun while they were fighting, law-enforcement sources said.

Cops responded to his house, also on Admiralty Loop, at around 2 a.m. and found a Colt revolver stored in a plastic box in a bedroom closet, court records show.

“It’s my gun,” Testori allegedly told police.

“My friend was supposed to buy it from me but didn’t, so I kept it.”

Testori was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, the records show.

A contracting crew hired to remove a set of cabinets from a home in Ocean Breeze helped themselves to everything but the kitchen sink, court papers claim.

Edward Grube, 48, was arrested last Wednesday after he and two partners stole hot-water tanks, boilers, baseboards and copper piping from a customer’s home, according to the records.

The victim had hired Grube and the two unidentified men to remove the cabinets from the second floor of her home while she was out.

When she returned Wednesday afternoon, she discovered that everything was missing, according to the records.

The contractor returned to the home at around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, and was arrested by police, telling them, “I’m supposed to be here,” according to the court documents.

Grube was charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal mischief, said a spokesman for DA Dan Donovan.

Queens

Cops are searching for a box truck (pictured) — and its occupants, who used it to rob a cooking-oil factory in Long Island City.

The thieves drove the graffiti covered truck through the front gate of the Healthy Brand Oil Corp.’s headquarters on Jackson Avenue at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 3 and lifted four pallets of cooking oil.

The white truck is tagged with black and purple spray paint.

A man was shot multiple times in Jamaica, officials said.

His assailant opened fire at around 11:30 p.m. Saturday on 91st Avenue near 172nd Street, striking the victim several times before fleeing.

The victim was rushed to Jamaica Hospital and is expected to survive, according to police and fire officials.

Witnesses said the man was struck down on the sidewalk and was screaming for help after hearing five or six shots.
