MSNB-See no sexism

Look out, ladies. The war on conservative women has turned from ugly and vicious to downright disgusting.

MSNBC this week canceled Alec Baldwin’s little-watched talk show, “Up Late,’’ after the rage-aholic diva hurled anti-gay slurs — “c—sucking f-g’’ — at a Post photographer. Good riddance.

But as much as I hate to admit it, The Bloviator was right to whine that he’s the victim of a double-standard. Because the same network that gallantly stood up for homosexuals by canning Alec’s sorry behind has issued nothing but hugs to its despicable host Martin Bashir — who verbally mutilated Sarah Palin.

On Nov. 15, Bashir lobbed a rant so vile at the former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice-presidential nominee, it makes me ill even to think about it.

The British talker fantasized on air about having someone defecate and urinate in Palin’s mouth.

But if you thought this sick eruption would get Bashir fired, suspended, or banned from the best tables at Nobu, think again. An MSNBC rep said the Comcast-owned network, part of NBC, would handle the matter “internally.’’ Which is one way of timidly asking Bashir, “Would you prefer red or white wine with your meal?’’

MSNBC is the same network that suspended journalist Mark Halperin for a little more than a month in 2011 after he complained on “Morning Joe’’ that President Obama acted like “kind of a dick’’ at a press conference.

The network also yanked guest host David Shuster from the air for two weeks in 2008 after he said that Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign “pimped out’’ her daughter, Chelsea, by having her make phone calls to celebs and convention delegates.

But yakker Ed Schultz was only suspended for one week in 2011 after he called conservative commentator Laura Ingraham a “right-wing slut.’’

This should infuriate every reasonable human on the left or the right: Insult a liberal and lose serious face time. Trash a conservative female and get a slap on the wrist, if that.

Bashir “painted a picture of a barbaric, fetishistic act that is clearly on his mind,’’ said Lisa Schiffren, senior fellow of the conservative Independent Women’s Forum.

“The fact that MSNBC has not fired this man is shocking,’’ she told me. “Where is the women’s movement?’’

Two weeks after the potty slur, the National Organization for Women has not piped up on Palin’s behalf. Perhaps the useless dames on the left agree with unhinged singer Cher, who sent out a tweet after l’affaire Bashir calling Palin a “DUMB C WORD.’’

Others haven’t been so restrained as to shorten the gutter language to its first letter.

Like an incontinent toddler, HBO talker Bill Maher continually lobs degrading words that begin with “c’’ or “t’’ — an attempt to reduce Palin to the sum of her body parts. On CNN in 2011, Maher said he hoped that Palin and another pretty Republican, Minnesota Rep. and then-presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann, “split the MILF vote.’’ (Look it up.) Host Piers Morgan laughed appreciatively.

Insufferable “Late Show’’ host David Letterman compared Palin to a “slutty flight attendant,’’ and joked that her daughter “was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez’’ on a 2009 visit with her mom to Yankee Stadium. Willow Palin was 14 at the time.

(Letterman said he he meant to mock Palin’s older daughter Bristol, 18, who he thought had visited the ball field.) Like Bashir, Letterman and Maher have never been publicly punished.

Bashir’s insane rant came after Palin compared US indebtedness to China to slavery. He could have disagreed. Instead, he dredged up the name Thomas Thistlewood, an 18th-century British overseer who wrote in his diary about a grotesque punishment he used to discipline slaves.

Bashir wished the same torture on Palin.

Then on Nov. 18, Bashir issued an on-air apology, which Palin graciously accepted.

”Why aren’t folks like Tom Brokaw and Chuck Todd, who claim to speak for NBC News, not speaking out about this?’’ asked Baltimore Sun TV critic David Zurawik.

The answer is plain. To guys in the left-wing media, female conservatives are fun to maim.

Here’s a tip: lies hurt gay rights

A lesbian waitress from New Jersey posted a copy of a restaurant check on Facebook (now taken down) on which someone scrawled, “I’m sorry but I cannot tip because I do not agree with your lifestyle.’’

Was it a hoax?

The gay diss allegedly suffered by Dayna Morales, an ex-Marine who worked at Gallop Asian Bistro in Bridgewater, was disputed by a bewildered husband and wife. The couple showed WNBC-TV their copy of the check Morales evidently posted — without the anti-gay message — and a credit-card statement showing that they tipped $18 on the $93.55 bill.

Morales has received some $3,000 in donations since she went public, WNBC reported. She’s said she’ll give some of the cash to the Wounded Warriors Project.

But if she doctored a receipt for pity, Morales has trashed an innocent couple, while setting back the cause for gay rights. For shame.

Don’t egg them on!

This makes me queasy. Egg “agents’’ are recruiting fit, pretty New York actresses and models, persuading them to sell their ova to couples undergoing in-vitro fertilization.

“Boardwalk Empire’’ actress Robyn Young, 28, told The Post she’s in the process of selling her third set of eggs, pocketing $8,000 to $10,000 per batch. But Young complains her eggs could command 20 grand per sale if she just had higher SAT scores!

“I don’t want to be a stripper. I wanted to figure out my career, so there was really no other choice at the time,’’ Young said.

She’d have more integrity if she pole-danced for money.

It’s a pity if you like butts

Yes, Nanny Bloomberg. We know. Smoking isn’t sexy. But will sucking on coffin nails ruin your sex life?

Yes, says a new city Health Department scare campaign. The “NYC Quits’’ Web site tells male smokers that they could suffer from erectile dysfunction, and females that they could become infertile.

Not true, said Audrey Silk of Citizens Lobbying Against Smoker Harassment.

This is all you need to know: Chances of getting kissed decrease with each deadly puff. That’s scary enough.

O a nowhere man

Surprise—President Obama was ranked 17th out of the 25 least-influential celebrities of 2013 by GQ.

He was beaten out by Dennis Rodman. No. 2 was N-word-spewing chef Paula Deen, and coming in third was sext-crazy Anthony Weiner.
