The Strip

The bottom of the remainder barrel at Blockbuster is too good for the inept workplace comedy “The Strip,” which managed to snag a vanity booking at the none-too-picky Quad Cinema.

Dave Foley is the best-known name in this grab bag of scatological humor, as the demoted former manager of a low-end electronics store in a generic strip mall.

The film’s high and low points occur simultaneously, when an employee bets that duct tape will insulate him from the terminals of a car battery. He loses, and so does anybody who sees this brain-dead film.
