As Tiger Woods’ cheating ways grew, his efforts to keep that part of his life secret from his wife became more elaborate, according to a new report.
He changed his phone number at least four times, Jaimee Grubbs, who says she had an affair with the golfing great told Us Weekly.
“He always texted or called with a new number,” Grubbs said.
Woods also warned her to not text back, telling her, “I have too many people around.”
But Grubbs failed to follow that order.

Despite his best efforts, Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren, was becoming so suspicious that she began laying the groundwork for a possible life without him.
When she agreed to pay $850,000 above the asking price for a Swedish estate, “I felt something could be wrong,” one friend told Us. The magazine said she bought the property on her own.
While Woods was trying to keep secrets from his wife, he was spilling them to his mistresses.
Sex romps became therapy sessions, the magazine reported.
“Tiger indulges all of his secrets when he’s with his mistresses,” someone the magazine identified as a “pal” said. “He whines about how unhappy he is with his wife. He doesn’t like how manicured his gated community is. He doesn’t know why he got married.”
Woods wasn’t shy about sending text messages to Grubbs. One on Oct. 15 said, “Meet me at the Island Hotel. We’re in room 905 under Mr. & Mrs. Bell.”
Bryon Bell is Woods’ best friend. He was supposed to be best man at Bell’s wedding this weekend but reportedly has backed out as publicity surrounding his personal life has burgeoned.
Woods even was supposed to meet Grubbs around the time his wife was having daughter Sam in 2007 but he finally backed out.
And he let mistress Rachel Uchitel know about his feelings for his wife in emails, according to In Touch Weekly.
