Oscar won’t go to O

Oprah Winfrey has many victories in her career — but she won’t be winning an Oscar for “producing” the movie “Precious.”

Winfrey and co-producer Tyler Perry signed on to the movie — which is generating lots of Oscar buzz — after it was shot, and thus can’t be considered for an Academy Award if “Precious” is nominated, according to goldderby.com.

“The rule is up to three producers get statuettes,” a studio rep told the site. “The producers are Lee Daniels, Sarah Siegel-Magness and Gary Magness.”

Armond White, chairman of the New York Film Critics Circle, went even further.

“Winfrey and Perry had no hand in the actual production . . . yet the movie must have touched some sore spot in their demagogue psyches,” he said.
