‘N Sync’s publicity stunt with Aflac duck

We know which brand of insurance they’re going to buy-buy-buy!

Former ‘N Sync members Lance Bass and Joey Fatone spent the day quacking around with Aflac’s trouble-making TV duck, who was busted waddling around a subway station in Manhattan during a publicity stunt on Monday.

The adorable fowl was in town to do some promotion for the insurance company, and ruffled some feathers when it was taken into the 23rd Street station in the Flatiron District Monday.

The 90s boy band stars — famous for the hit “Bye Bye Bye” — snapped photos with their feathered friend on a rooftop with Manhattan skyline views on Monday to kick off New York Advertising Week. They later posted some of the selfies on Instagram.

The singers were also spotted riding in a yellow cab with the big white bird — which may have been a better idea than letting it loose in the subway.

The duck ruffled some feathers after Aflac let the squawker wander into the 23rd Street station in the Flatiron District on Monday, irking some MTA honchos.

“Ducks don’t belong on the subway,” declared MTA spokesman Adam Lisberg said yesterday. “Especially waddling through stations, and especially not when they’re used as part of a publicity stunt that makes it harder for our customers to get around.”

He added, “New Yorkers know that animals are only allowed in the subway when they’re enclosed in containers.”

Photos show the duck walking under a subway turnstile and climbing up the station’s stairs with a mischievous grin.
