John Doyle’s talent is literally eye-popping.
Doyle, of Rainhill, Merseyside, in England, became a YouTube sensation when he posted a video showing off his ability to bulge his eyes.
Now he’s trying to make it into the Guinness World Records book by breaking the old mark of nearly half-inch extension of eyes out of their sockets.
Doyle, an Internet marketer, said he discovered his rare talent two years ago — and used it as a pub trick. On a lark, he decided to make a video, and “it just took off.”
It doesn’t hurt or risk damaging his eyes, he said, and he now hopes to turn it into a career: “I never expected it would be as popular as this.”
