20 to life in club slay

A bartender’s assistant at a Times Square nightclub was sentenced to 20 years to life yesterday for murdering a patron during a birthday bash for rapper Lil’ Kim.

“I know I caused a tremendous amount of pain,” Syed Rahman, of Queens, muttered in an apology to the family of Ingrid Rivera before he was sent up the river for the gruesome 2008 murder on the roof of Spotlight Live.

Rivera’s mother, Ingrid Estrada, said she’s still in agony over the loss of her only daughter.

She said the “cruel disappearance” had been hard on Rivera’s brother Joshua, 9, who suffers from Down syndrome.

The boy “still asks about his only sister, who made him laugh so much,” she said.

Rahman pleaded guilty last month to the murder at the since-shuttered karaoke club. He’d helped get Rivera, 24, back in after she’d been tossed out for being drunk.

He lured the Queens woman to the roof, where he bludgeoned her with a steel pipe after she rejected his advances.
