DOVER, Del. — Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden announced yesterday that he would not seek election to the US Senate seat long held by his dad, Vice President Joe Biden — placing another Democratic-held national post in jeopardy.
Beau Biden, 40, e-mailed supporters that he would run for re-election instead of taking on GOP Rep. Mike Castle for the seat his father held for 36 years.
