Cop-killer’s baby mama might be a sex offender, judge says

Cop killer Ronell Wilson’s prison guard baby mama might have to register as a sex offender because of her jailhouse trysts with the notorious Bloods gang member.

Nancy Gonzalez, 29, was scheduled for sentencing Monday morning but Judge Brian Cogan adjourned the proceeding so he could consider several issues – including her potential sex offender status.

Gonzalez and Wilson had sex at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn and she gave birth to their child, Justus, last year.

Cogan said there is a possibility that her crime – having sex with an inmate – could land her on a federal sex offender registry.

Gonzalez lost custody of Justus after she was found to be using drugs and alcohol before and after the child’s birth.

Her attorney, Anthony Ricco, said Monday that Gonzalez is trying to rehabilitate herself so she can again be reunited with her child.

“It’s difficult to to raise a child when you are dealing with your own problems,” Ricco said outside of court.

Prosecutors are pushing for a sentence of 10 to 16 months in prison for the crime while Ricco has argued that she should be given probation because she suffered sex abuse as a child and teenager.

Wilson was sentenced to death for the 2003 murder of two undercover NYPD detectives during a gun buy sting gone bad.

Gonzalez said that she wanted to give the condemned killer something to live for by bearing him a child and that fatherhood might have saved him from the death penalty.

She later distanced herself from Wilson and refused to testify on his behalf at his re-sentening trial.
