2013 hasn’t been Zac Efron’s year.
The former “High School Musical” star hasn’t had a hit in a couple years, and last month it was reported that he spent time in rehab for alcohol and cocaine problems earlier this year. So, it seems safe to say that he’s ready to put this year behind him.
Fortunately for the actor, 2014 will kick off with the release of his next film, the romantic comedy “That Awkward Moment.”
The film stars Efron, Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan, as three twenty-somethings who vow to enjoy the single life after Jordan’s character is dumped. But in typical rom-com style, things don’t go as planned and people start falling in love left and right.
The racy trailer shows off the guys running around New York, arguing over peanut butter chocolate ice cream, experimenting with Viagra and talking about what it means to be a dude. And, oh yeah, Efron shows off his naked backside.
“That Awkward Moment” hits theaters on January 31, 2014.
