Fox Business schedule stirred up by Bartiromo

Fox Business Network kicks off a new business-day programming slate Feb. 24, the date new show “Opening Bell with Maria Bartiromo” begins.

The Bartiromo show will run weekdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. following “Imus in the Morning.”

“Varney & Co.” moves to the 11 a.m.-to-1 p.m. slot.

“Markets Now” continues in the 1 p.m. hour until a new show on alternative investing, anchored by FBN’s latest hire, former Bloomberg TV veteran Deirdre Bolton, launches sometime in the first quarter.

Two weeks before the shake-up, on Feb. 10, “Money” with Melissa Francis will move to 2 p.m. and “The Willis Report” will shift to 5 p.m.

Additionally, “Cavuto” will run at 6 p.m. with a repeat presentation at 8 p.m.

The earlier changes will remain in place when the new business-day programming block goes into effect.
